At a networking meet-up, I heard a common theme; "I love the creative part of my work but hate the administrative part." From that need, the idea for Navigate with Nicole was born.
As a history major, I was always focused on details and the lives of people in the past. That hasn't changed since my time in school, and today I still find myself most interested in people and doing what I can to learn as much as I can about my clients and their companies. As your virtual assistant, I want to ensure I'm representing your business the way you want, and that everything being said or done is in your voice! This is your business, and I want to give you more time to focus on the parts of it that you love.
My many years in retail and wholesale jewelry sales strengthened my abilities to cultivate strong relationships with contacts at all professional levels. Especially in customer service, being able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic, was essential. By being self-motivated and focused on accomplishing objectives through identifying problems and implementing creative solutions, I was able to go from being a seasonal gift wrapper to a store manager within 2 years.
From there, I moved to that company's home office, where I did everything from working with international jewelry manufacturers, to training new retailers and sales representatives, to coordinating inventory for six different product lines. As Operations Manager I coordinated with 80+ retailers across North America, and handled all invoices, fulfillment, and distribution of product to retailers. I became used to working on multiple projects and wearing many hats, as I also ran the e-commerce for one of the company's other branches.
After relocating back to New Jersey I began consulting for small businesses, from a marketing company to an amazing artist who sells painted glassware. Using the event planning, administrative, project management, and customer skills I'd learned in my previous roles I was able to help these businesses find tools that increased productivity and led to improved sales and events.
Like you, I know what it takes for a business to succeed, and I want to be a part of that for your business.
You should have more time to enjoy your family, snuggling your pets, going to beach, getting drinks with your friends, working out, or whatever else makes you happy.
Navigate with nicole will give you that time.
